This hat was inspired by art deco designs and vintage fashion trends, particularly the draped turban style hats seen in the 20s–40s (and earlier) and again in the 60s–70s as fashion revivals.

Incenter is a pair of comfy garter stitch mittens in three colors — the unusual sideways construction makes them super fun to make!

It starts with a modular brim, featuring raised chevrons on a bias garter stitch base, and is topped with a simple garter stitch body and crown, slipped stitches running up and in to the center.
