A little pouch that can strap around your ankle or wrist, just big enough to hold the little essentials, and a no-strap variation big enough to hold your cards and work as a thin wallet. 10 yard chunky weight yarn version of the strappy pouch, 15 yard DK weight version of both.

On some summer days I like to take a walk without having to carry a bag, and if I’m wearing a skirt or dress with no pockets, I’m stuck with a purse to hold my house key/cash/etc. So I designed this little pouch that can strap around an ankle or wrist, just big enough to hold the little essentials - no bag or pockets needed! Just for fun, I also included a no-strap variation big enough to hold your cards and work as a thin wallet.

Pattern set includes lighter and heavier weight versions of the strappy pouch, which buttons around a wrist or ankle, and a mini-wallet variation.

The 2 versions are the same basic pattern, smaller with a strap and button, or bigger and strapless with no button. The pouch can hold a little money (folded up), a key, some change, or other small items; the mini-wallet can hold a driver’s license/credit card and/or anything else of that size.

Lighter-weight version: 15 yards of around DK-sport weight, needles size 4-6 depending on how tightly you knit - gauge of about 6.5 stitches per inch

Heavier-weight version: 10 yards of around chunky weight, needles size 10-10.5 depending on how tightly you knit - gauge of about 4 stitches per inch
