Botanica was inspired by a vintage doily that I found years ago. I studied the stitches and replaced the simple center stitches with a pretty flower design.

Under the Willow is a unique 3-spine rectangle shawl. Two panels of garter stitch sandwich a center panel of stockinette and lace. The rectangle shape creates an A-line shawl along the sides at the shoulders and a longer back and shorter front. A simple garter/stockinette striped band trims the edge of the shawl.
