Beneath the Pines Cowl
Design
This design is a cowl version of my Beneath the Pines shawl. Featuring a pretty, pine cone lace stitch and a clean garter stitch trims the top edge. The 2 plies of super bulky yarn are separated and used for the fringe, creating an organic look, mimicking handspun roving. Worked up on large needles and super bulky yarn. Cowl is worked flat and then joined in the round. Pattern is written in ONE size. (For a larger circumference, go up to a US 17/12 mm needle. For a smaller circumference, go down to a US 13/9 mm needle.) All repeats appear in bold text throughout pattern. The pattern is charted and also includes separate written instructions.
