This seed stitch buttoned cowl is a super quick and easy way to use about 100 yards of chunky-weight alpaca yarn. I used exactly 1 skein of Frog Tree Alpaca’s Chunky Alpaca yarn but other options are Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky, Misti Alpaca Chunky, or Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande (1 skein of any of these).

Salt Marsh Wrap is a wide, rectangle scarf/wrap and features a simple eyelet lace pattern surrounded by a garter stitch border. This scarf can be worn in multiple ways and can also be easily lengthened if you prefer (just make sure to purchase an extra skein!).

Wrap-Around Cowl is knit lengthwise, working back and forth in garter stitch with rows of dropped stitches. When buttoned, it becomes a versatile cowl that can be simply draped around your neck or wrapped twice around for a close fit. Buttonholes are placed while you knit, so there is no need to pick up stitches at the end.

Audrey’s First Day is a raglan cardigan, knit in one piece from the top-down. Sleeves are separated at the underarm and sleeve sts are held on scrap yarn while the body is completed. Sleeves are then worked on DPNs from the underarm to the cuff. Front band ribbing is created by picking up and knitting sts along garment edge.
