Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
This reversible double layer scarf/neckwarmer was inspired by a Double Knitting class I took with the incredible Lucy Neatby. HOWEVER, I’m a very slow knitter and the back and forth with every stitch would mean I couldn’t possibly finish a project in this lifetime, or at least before cold weather set in, so I decided to reverse the colours half...
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
NOTE: This pattern will be available for sale AFTER the Train has returned to the platform. ~March 2016
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Off the Rails is designed for the Canadian Crazy Train on Ravelry. A large broken rib represents the rails and the cabled circles are reminiscent of the wheels of the train and the steam engine.
Knitting: Cowl

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
It is inspired by the stupa or chedi structures of Buddhist temple complexes in Asia. The buildings are half dome shaped and typically topped with graceful spires encircled with glittering gold bells and adorned with the stylistic flower carvings and gold stencilled flame motifs. I’ve taken inspiration from these designs for this pattern.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The Ceylon Series were conceived and knit while cycling around on the island of Sri Lanka (formerly called Ceylon). They are a mock cable technique using increases and decreases rather than a cable needle. A lacey version for ‘her’ and solid version for ‘him’ can be made simply by reading the chart legend.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Socks of Ceylon were knit while cycling around on the island of Sri Lanka (formerly called Ceylon). They are a mock cable technique using increases and decreases rather than a cable needle and a toe-up construction making the pattern symmetric and easily committed to memory.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless gloves are a modern motif using traditional Fair Isle technique. They are knit in the round with simple shaping for the thumb gusset.
