Knitting: Ankle Sock
The October Socks were designed specifically for the amazing orange sock yarn from Lisas Attik which had no name!!
Knitting: Ankle Sock
These cute, summer ankle socks were designed for my daughter Betsy, age 9, specifically to show off the wonderful sock set from Blue Fern Yarns that was also designed for my daughter Betsy!
Crochet: Bedspread
Princess Polka Dots is a modular hexagon crochet blanket designed by my daughter, Betsy, when she was 8 years old.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
These socks were designed to be used with a yarn advent calendar but will also work with any small scraps of sock yarn or a mini skein set. The pattern also looks great with just two colours.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
The Zigzaggy Socks were originally designed for my 8 year old daughter using a pretty, speckled yarn but I was curious to see what the zig zag pattern would look like in a solid colour yarn and they turned out so great.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
The Autumn Socks are knit over 64 stitches on 2.25mm and 2.5mm needles. You will need both size needles because the pattern, which is integral to the ribbing, works better on 2.5mm needles with the remainder of the sock worked on 2.25mm.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
The Wych Elm socks are worked cuff down over 64 stitches on 2.25mm needles with a heel flap and gusset and standard toe.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks were designed to make the most out of the colours in the Biffsugar Yarns Bonfire Night mystery skein 2020 which I used together with a solid black 4ply from Opal.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
The Winter Socks are a 64sts, cuff-down sock pattern using two 50g balls of Drops Nord in the Pearl Grey Mix (03) colourway.
Crochet: Throw
The Spring Stripes Blanket was originally launched in June 2016 and this is a re-work of that basic recipe to include different options and the ability to modify.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Ad.e.las.ter ~ a provisional name for a plant which has not had its flowers botanically examined, and therefore has not been referred to its proper genus.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
These lovely socks use two balls of Drops Nord in the powder pink colourway, and 2.25mm needles.
Crochet: Throw
I designed the London Blanket way back in 2015 and then completely forgot about it, I’m not sure why.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Six Wives Shawl has been designed in collaboration with Biffsugar Yarns to celebrate the six wives of Henry VIII.
Knitting: Ankle Sock
These cute summer shorties were inspired by the Love Island Sock Mini Set from Biffsugar Yarns and as at May 2023 I had to change the name of them from Love Island Socks to Lovely Shorty Socks for copyright reasons (yes, I know)!
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Ambala Remixed is a remix of my Ambala pattern designed for use with a gradient yarn cake and just using the vintage pineapple chevron stitch from that pattern.
Crochet: Clutch
Shimla is a pretty clutch bag pattern that has a simply constructed base with a pretty, frilly exterior and mega awesome multi-bound tassels.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern is part of my Hanging Rock Designs Vol.1 ebook which features three patterns (two knit and one crochet).
Crochet: Cowl
This cowl is made using the fabulous millstone stitch (If you need instruction on this stitch I have a video tutorial here) and I loved how it resembles the formality of a parterre garden when you use a solid colour for the outline (mortar) and a pretty handpainted yarn for the centres (bricks).
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The Dotty Socks use a simple dot stitch pattern which is easy to memorise and looks great with all types of sock yarn.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl was designed by me for the specific purpose of fitting close in to my neck when I’m wearing my dog walking parka.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
These lovely fingerless mitts were made with autumn in mind and feature a pretty fan stitch which carries on to the thumb.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
The Maya Top is made from a simple construction of granny squares and is easy to modify for different sizes and yarn, with sizing details (for S, M and L) and further notes on additional modification/sizing.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I saw a beautiful pair of crocheted fingerless flower mitts at Anthropologie but they were sold out so I decided to make my own. It’s the first time I’ve ever created an Anthropolgie hack, the first time I’ve ever seen something on the high street that I’ve wanted to recreate and so I’ve hope I’ve done those mitts justice. There is a video tuto...

The Betsy Skirt is a simple pattern for a super stretchy, pull-on skirt for toddlers and young girls with added pompoms for a bit of fun.
Crochet: Skirt
This is a super easy, pull-on skirt pattern for children. Designed with my super active, super girly four year old in mind.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
A pretty baby blanket in a luxurious yarn, crocheted using a stretchy staggered shell stitch to create something beautiful and soft to wrap tightly around your new baby.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
This baby blanket was born from a desire to make a lacy baby blanket in beautiful sun-washed tones to match my summery mood when designing it (and considering it was designed for making on my summer holiday in Malta).
Crochet: Cowl
This simple but effective cowl is a real statement piece for something entirely constructed from double crochet stitches (singles in the US).
