Notes: Yuko starts with two front bands knit separately and seamed together at the end to form a V shape. From the bottom edge of that V, stitches are picked up and knit down in a chevron to create the body of the shrug. Next, half of those stitches are put on hold and the other half are worked sideways, decreasing quickly to create a triangle. The other side is worked the same way, and these triangles are seamed to the edges of the front bands to create the armholes. The armholes are then finished with a stretchy cast-off to prevent curling.
