I grew up playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and ever since I started knitting, I wanted my own set of gauntlets adorned with the triforce. As a lover of bling, I decided that my pair needed beads. You could also make the triforce motif using duplicate stitch if that’s more your speed.

Sizes: S (M)

Finished Measurements:
Hand Circumference: 6 (7) inches
Choose a size that will give you about ½ to 1 inch of negative ease.

Gauge: 8 stitches and 11 rows per inch in stockinette

Needles: US 1.5 (2.5 mm) or size needed to get gauge. The designer used a 9 inch circular needle for the body of the mitt and DPNs for the thumb, but this pattern is also suitable for magic loop, two circulars, etc.

Yarn: 120 (140) yards of fingering weight yarn. The sample was knit with Knit Picks Stroll in Black.

Other Materials: 204 size 8/0 seed beads, tool for adding beads to knitting (small crochet hook, dental floss, etc.), stitch markers, waste yarn, darning needle
