The Spiral Slope Cowl is a great way to highlight one of those hard-to-resist, hand-dyed skeins with two coordinating colors. Since there is no wrong side to hide, the cowl is easy to wear and all three yarns get equal presentation. Style it as a single loop or double it around your neck. It is a tubular cowl that uses the intarsia-in-the-round technique as well as shaped intarsia. Shaped intarsia creates smooth lines (rather than the typical stairsteps) at the color changes. For this project, you won’t need yarn butterflies or bobbins. To finish, the piece is carefully joined in the round with Kitchener stitch using the yarn tail of each colorway
