My first exposure to double knitting was the swatch for the Master Hand Knitting certification. I was intrigued by the technique. I made a large scarf to practice and then thought I’d try a matching hat, knit in the round. After much practice, tweaking, and revising, Reversible Rose Hat is the result.

This hat is loose-fitting, more like a bucket hat, but very warm due to the double-layered fabric. Because it is reversible, you get two hats in one.
