Rhododendron shawl
The shawl colors remind me of a Rhododendron plant with pretty flowers that graced our backyard a long while ago in California. Well, the Rhododendron shawl is a crescent shape, easy to knit and can be styled many ways, being just as easy going as the plant is.
Wear it as a cowl, shawl or kerchief and make any outfit come to life. It is a very lightweight shawl when knitted with the yarn as shown and the striking, feminine lace edge and easy going stockinette stitches make this a breeze to knit. It’s the perfect weekend project~
The blocked dimensions are 64” in length and 14” in middle height.
The pattern is fully written and also offers a lace chart.
Yarn used here:
A single Lightly skein with 238 yards in 7 color/yarn changes, hand wound in a cotton/linen/rayon mix, perfect for the summer months. One fingering and six lace weights.
