Meet Oodles of Stripes, your new go-to poncho.
Knitted with a new cool, mercerized cotton yarn available in my online yarn shop, it features a flattering lengthwise cut in a soft color palette. You’ll love the yarn and how easy it is to knit….

It’s knitted in two pieces and two short seams to give you plenty of space to move your arms freely. The top edge gets a sweet seed stitch border added and four heart shaped buttons cinch it together. So sweet~

The pattern is fully written for sizes S/M - 36/38” and L/XL - 46/50” and offers a schematic to help finish your project~

Yarn used
A sport weight mercerized cotton yarn. 125 yards a skein in two colors.
5/7 skeins needed.
C1- 2/3 skein for stripes
C2- 3/4 skeins for strips and neckline

Notions needed
US size 5 (3.5 mm) circular needle 32” (81 cm) in length. Check your gauge!
4 small buttons, as shown here, dotted heart shapes 3/4” in diameter.
Tapestry needle for finishing, adding buttons.

Gauge
17 sts and 34 rows in 4” of garter stitch.

Techniques applied
Knitting, purling, color changes, binding off, adding buttons, seaming top edges and weaving in ends.
Blocking is optional. The sample as shown was left unblocked.
