Rainbow Honeycomb blanket
The Stitchedupcraft Rainbow Honeycomb pattern creates a playful baby blanket with a beautiful texture, suitable for a boy or a girl. It’s also possible to add more hexagons and create a larger size so you may even want to make one for yourself!
The pattern comes as a 9 page PDF download, with comprehensive instructions.
Instructions include -
- Step by step photo tutorials
- separate written pattern for the convenience of a concise version
- information on sizing/yarn requirements so you can customise the blanket to your own sizing
- creating circles with minimal visible seams
- creating semi-circles
- turning a circle into a hexagon
- turning a semi-circle into a half hexagon
- Joining hexagons
- Border
The pattern sizing information is based on using DK yarn but you can use whatever size yarn you like. you will need approx. 200gm of border colour, and approx. 50gm each of 8 colours.
Yarn recommends a 4mm hook yet I like a softer drape and choose to use a 4.5mm hook (recommended if you crochet tight)
This pattern is Suitable for a confident beginner, yet still interesting enough to be enjoyed by an intermediate crocheter.
I am more than happy for you to sell any finished products, although I’d really appreciate it if you could give my shop the pattern credit.
