Bobble Wave Blanket
Bobble Wave Blanket Pattern US and UK Terms
The Bobble Wave pattern creates a beautiful mixture of chevrons and flowing diamonds joined by bobble stitches. It creates a very solid blanket with no holes like some chevrons, and it has a beautiful texture with the bobbles.
The instructions provided can be used to recreate the design as pictured, or you can simply use the pattern to create your own custom size and colourway.
The pattern comes as a 12 page PDF download, with comprehensive instructions.
Instructions include -
- Step by step photos
- separate written pattern (without the pictures) for when you want a concise version or for the more confident crocheter.
- Colour chart to recreate the rainbow baby blanket.
- information on how to calculate the pattern to your own custom sizing or colour way.
The pattern sizing information is based on using DK yarn but you can use whatever size yarn you like.
This pattern is easy enough to be used by a confident beginner, yet still interesting with enough variety to be enjoyed by an intermediate crocheter.
Stitches used are (US) CH, SC, DC, HDC, HDC2TOG, TR, Bobble, and Crab Stitch border (optional). (UK) CH, DC, HTR, HTR2TOG, TR, DTR.
Written instructions included for Bobble, HDC2TOG and Crab Stitch.
