The Plot Twist Tank is a classic summer staple…with a twist! Worked seamlessly from the top-down, this tank top features subtle cabled edges along the armholes, which extend down both sides of the body, as well as a cabled rib hem and neck trim. The Plot Twist Tank is thoughtfully designed to be bra-friendly, carefully constructed to keep bra straps and bands out of sight. The pattern includes optional waist shaping instructions for a more form fitting look, as well as instructions on how to adjust the length of the top if desired.

Construction
The Plot Twist Tank is worked from the top-down in stockinette stitch with cabled edges. The back shoulders are worked flat and shaped using increases, which are then joined to form the back panel, which is also worked flat. Stitches are picked up along the back shoulder edges for the front shoulders, which are each worked flat and shaped with increases, and then joined to form the front panel, which is also worked flat. The front and back panels are then joined at the underarms, and the body is then worked in the round. Stitches are then picked up along the neck hole to work the cabled neck trim in the round.

Garment is intended to be worn with approx. 11-17 cm / 4.25-6.75” of negative ease at the bust and approx. 1.5-6 cm / 0.5-2.25” of negative ease at the waist.

If your bust measurement falls between sizes, choose the size that is closest to your measurement (e.g. if your bust measures 87 cm / 34.25” then you should knit size S, and if your bust measures 90 cm / 35.5” then you should knit size M).

Waist circumference only applies if you choose to incorporate the optional waist shaping instructions.
