Hopeful Hat is the little sister of the Hopeful shawl, the hat to accompany the shawl as an accessory set. The hat features the same reversible cable pattern as the shawl. You can wear the hat whichever side up you like the most and fold the brim to reveal the other side of the stitch pattern.

Worn with approx. 1.25–2″ / 3–5 cm negative ease. The hat size can be modified using smaller/larger needles for different gauge.

Gepard Garn My Wool (100% Merino, 50 g / 137 yds / 125 m / skein) in colorway 492 (deep brownish red). You need 2 (2, 3) skeins, or 246 (274, 301) yds / 225 (250, 275) m of DK-weight yarn.

Needles
US 6 / 4 mm (16″ / 40 cm or preferred length) circular needle. DPNs or a longer circular needle for crown shaping.
