HATTARA
Overview
HATTARA is a Finnish word that refers to the fluffy clouds and that were the inspiration for this pattern — I imagined the clouds during summer sunsets, with strong reds, oranges and pinks. I am also imagining versions of it in moody stormy colours.
The sweater is knitted top down flat until underarms, then in the round until bottom hem. The sleeves are picked up and worked flat with intarsia technique to continue the bobble pattern on the sleeves.
