OHIA
- Pattern available in English and French, in inches and cm, written and charted versions included*
Overview
OHIA is a fluffy and light sweater and the perfect top piece for autumn, or the layer that is going to keep you warm during the winter. It is knitted seamlessly top-down, oversized and slightly cropped. Starting at the back neck, the back is formed using the European shoulder construction and then worked flat until the underarms. Each front is picked up and joined below the neckline before the whole piece is joined at the underarms to be worked in the round until the hem. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. The motif of the sweater is a very simple 4-row repeat that’s easy to follow and enjoyable to knit - so much that it continues on the ribbing sections. Finally, the collar is worked in 1/1 rib and finished with a rolled edge.
