This casual yet elegant cardigan incorporates beginner sweater techniques such as a raglan yoke, as well as simple cables and ribbing. It requires only minimal seaming and picking up stitches. As written, this cardigan has large comfy pockets built into the thick neckline, but if preferred the pockets can easily be left out or the neckline can be made narrower. German short rows are worked at the bottom of the back to add a sophisticated yet subtle drape.
