Linguist by profession, maker by heart.

My name is Simone, I am a knitwear designer currently living in the woods outside of Königswinter in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. My university degree in Historical Linguistics and Celtic Studies landed me a day job as a copy editor for IT books, of all things.

I recently quit my day job and am now fully self-employed. Exciting! I currently build my brand as a designer and would love to connect, collaborate, or just grab a (virtual or actual) cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate and chat.

As you can see from my designs, colour plays an important role in my life and my work. Fingerless mittens are my hobbyhorse and I love a good, complex lace design.
