Knitting: Cowl
I’ve seen bulky cowls like this all over the place this winter. I thought I’d seen one that was similar here on Ravelry, but I can’t find a pattern exactly like this one I made up.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This is my very first crochet pattern. I’m offering it for free to get some feedback. Eventually I will include it in a little collection of related patterns.

Knitting: Headband
Inspired by Calorimetry, this is a very flattering and practical headband that will keep you warm and stylish. It’s perfect with a ponytail and a cute, feminine option for short hair.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
Entrelac is a great technique to show off variegated yarns with long colorways.
Knitting: Scarf
I love this pattern. It’s lovely and reversible. Every row is the same back and forth except for the cable row, so it’s easy, too. I’ve knit it in several worsted and DK weight yarns, all with great results.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I love these gloves. I make them with beads sometimes to highlight the cable pattern. They are warm and pretty, and the cable pattern is easy to follow because of the mini cables that act as row counters to tell you when to cable.
