Cablerimetry
Inspired by Calorimetry, this is a very flattering and practical headband that will keep you warm and stylish. It’s perfect with a ponytail and a cute, feminine option for short hair.
The pattern is shaped using short rows in the ribbed sides with a cable panel worked flat across the top.
In the comments on many projects I noticed that cablerimetries are sometimes coming out small. I am a very, very loose knitter. Please check your gauge, as the pattern is written for the 4 stitches per inch that I usually get with a worsted weight. If you are tighter (which is nearly everyone), I recommend either using an aran or light bulky yarn or else adding cables to the middle, which is 5 stitches per cable added.
Cablerimetry is now available in French! Misstlog kindly volunteered a translation. I tried to upload the French version pdf. Let me know if you don’t see it.
