Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
You will need 4 colors of fingering weight yarn, about 70 yds. per contrast color, and 100 yds. for the ribbing, heels & toes main color. Feel free to use more colors if you are looking for a great pattern to use up leftover colors. Easy slip stitch patterns make these socks different. Pattern is written for use with one 12” circular needle, but it may be easily adapted for Magic Loop, DPN or 2 circular needle methods. Yardage includes both yarns used. You will need less than 50 grams of the multicolor and almost 100 grams of the solid if making the pattern as written.
