Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Seafront is the last pattern I’m releasing in 2022. It is a very spontaneous design that I came up during a rather busy period of time. I needed some fun knitting to take my mind off the busy work days and it would have to be a quick knit, too, so I would have the pleasure to finish and wear it during the fall.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Fresh Peonies is a shawl pattern that aims to treat you with a few hours of happy, relaxing knitting while creating a soft, airy crescent-shaped shawl.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Apokalókairo is the Greek word for the last days of summer and the first days of early fall. This time of the year is so beautiful in my homeland, the weather is still warm, but not too hot and it can be windy and cool in the evenings, so you might just need a light, airy shawl to cover your shoulders from the cool, summer breeze. One skein of ...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Rise Up Wrap was first released and published in 2017, in Italian, under the name La Scalinata. For three years it was available exclusively via Unfilodi and the Italian version still remains an Unfilodi exclusive pattern.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I cast on this pair of socks on August 15 and so, I had to name the pattern Ferragosto Twist. August 15 is my nameday and it is a holiday in several European countries. In Italy, as in Greece, the day has its own special name : Ferragosto (mid-August holiday). Twisted stitches did the rest. I combined a slipped sts pattern with some twists for ...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Kérkyra is a narrow shawl or a wide scarf (depending on how you choose to wear it) made out of one skein of fingering weight yarn. It is triangle-shaped, a long, isosceles triangle, that is worked from its tip towards its base, with increases placed at every 7th row when working on the main lace pattern and the same stitch count for some rows w...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Sunday Belle is an asymmetric shawl with an interesting construction. In fact, it is made of 2 parts; you start with creating a triangle and when you BO the sts of this first part, then you pick up and knit sts alongside the garter stitch edge to work a trapeze.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Hug 2020 is a very easygoing, beginner-friendly shawl pattern. The beauty of this hand-dyed luxury yarn needs no complicated stitch patterns to help it bloom; it is just shiny and soft and it will make a great New Year’s project with an optimist message! A crescent shape, garter and stockinette stitch and small, easy-to-remember mosaic motifs a...
Knitting: Cowl
Energy Flow Cowl is a very easy, beginner-friendly pattern for an “Infinity Cowl”. The hand-dyed gradient yarn by Le Tinte del Bosco and the transition from one colorway to the other inspired both the stitch patterns I used as well as the name of the cowl.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
A pair of toe-up socks that knits up quickly and beautifully; I knit my prototype while on vacation at Iria Beach, one of the many beautiful beaches in the Peloponnese. As this was an “on-the-go” project, I opted for an easy, yet elegant, eyelet pattern with knits and purls alternating for some extra fun. The sts repeat is easy-to-memorize, so ...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The pattern is already available in French, Spanish and Italian (thanks to Betta, birbabetta69 ! Happy knitting!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Tolerante is the second shawl pattern from the series The Peace Trilogy. Its name refers to tolerance, of cource; the more tolerant we are with ourselves and the others, the happier the world will be. Embracing diversity is an art we must cultivate if we want to live free from prejudice and in peace with ourselves. As I was working this strange...

Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is knit back and forth, at a loose gauge, to enhance drape and create a beautiful fabric that hugs your neck and offers warmth. If you want, you can just not graft the two edges together, so this makes it a nice scarf for you. I strongly encourage that you read the whole pattern before starting to work on it. It is a very easy, beginn...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
La Mer , the emblematic French song of the ’40s by Charles Trénet inspired this colorwork pattern and so, the hat is named after it. I must admit that the Breton colorway that I used to knit the prototype influenced a lot in making up my mind about the name, too. I think this pattern is totally unisex and can be worn by adults and children equa...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Top-down, triangular-shaped and made out of cotton, a summer shawl to enjoy knitting and wearing. The name comes from the fresh, pink color I used for the prototype.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Are you looking for an excuse to -finally- make use of that gorgeous luxury skein of yarn you purchased at the spur of the moment? Do you have room for another silky, lustrous, soft shawl, one to wrap around your shoulders and make you feel like a “royal”?
Knitting: Ankle Sock
This pattern came as part of my “Leftovers’ Challenge”, a challenge I decided to take so that I make use of small balls of yarn I used in past projects and that can be used together to create a sort of “fade” effect. Small amounts of yarn can make great socks and I bet you can find lots of wonderful sock weight yarn leftovers in your stash to p...

I love Italian coffee, can’t you tell? In fact, one of the most vivid memories I have from my trips to Italy is the taste and aroma of the fine Italian coffee. Freddo Macchiato is my favorite “summer” coffee and the yarn I used for this project does remind me of it.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
If there is a pattern that comes from the bottom of my heart, this is it. Sarakatsana, the woman of the Sarakatsani tribe was one of the rare Greek women to knit her legwarmers and handwarmers, using double pointed needles and 3 basic colors: black, white or rather off-white and deep, crimson red.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is part of a “Leftovers’ Challenge” series and it’s named after Sol=Sun in Spanish and Lux=Light in Latin. The two bright colors are, in fact, contrasting with the grey yarn that is Color A and it reminds me of the sunlight suddenly emerging from a cloudy sky. You can, of course, use the yarn of your choice and, yes, go ahead and s...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Magari is a shawl with a wishful name and a purpose. “Magari” is an Italian word (and the yarn I used for the prototype comes is hand-dyed by an Italian yarn artist, Sara Sol), but the “roots” of the word ‘magari“ are 100% Greek, in fact we use the word exactly as it is, but for one letter: Makari=I hope it happens!

Knitting: Scarf
This is my second pattern in the series meant to initiate Brioche knitting to hesitant knitters. In fact, it’s the …”sequel” to Briochelle Cowl, since it is based on the same Half – Brioche stitch pattern as the one used in the cowl. What’s the point in applying the same stitch pattern again? Well, I have my reasons for doing so and let me expl...
Knitting: Cowl
I love Brioche Stitch, who doesn’t? Many years ago, I even created a whole sweater in Brioche Stitch … to give away to a friend; yes, I know, what was I thinking of? Back in those days, long ago before the Internet, in Greece where I live and create, we hadn’t even heard of the term “Brioche Stitch”. We used to call this family of stitches the ...

Knitting: Fingerless Gloves, Beanie, Toque
This is a pattern that came up out of the need for a quick, relaxing project to work on right after the Holidays Season. Nevertheless, it has to be a fun project, so I added some easy lace pattern for that extra elegant detail. I hope ...

Caramella is named after the beautiful, caramel yarn colors I used to knit it. A bulky, luxurious yarn, in great colors and thick enough to avoid needing small needles. So it’s a “neck candy” that is worn as a cowl or a small cape or even as a hood to protect us from the cold. You knit it flat, using straight needles, as if it were a long scarf...

Anyway, it reminds me of my love for Spain and everything Spanish, the hours I ...
