V’otsala is the Greek word for “sea pebbles” and I tried to capture the moment the sea caresses these pebbles… Yes, the yarn color was what inspired me in the first place, but so was the need for a light, ethereal shawl with a new shape and instructions that can be easily memorized. A shawl that knits up rather quickly and can be worn all year round. Stockinette stitch, an easy mesh pattern, garter stitch and a few hours of knitting bliss will result in this light, airy shawl!
