Yarnadelic Remixes 0.1 is a project combining knitting and music, by friends, knitters and musicians, Felicity (Felix) Ford and Muriel Pensivy. Originally launched as a multimedia online course in the KNITSONIK School with videos, playlists and essays, the patterns are now being offered as a standalone eBook, with chapters appearing throughout the month of November and the completed eBook at the end of the month on November 30th, 2023.

The Oddventure hat is a happy adventure in using up your oddments. Pick out oddments of fingering weight yarns and organise them into gradients to produce a beautiful, shimmering (and thrifty) colourwork hat.

Understanding the process of choosing colours for stranded work is a breeze with Felix’s system.

About the pattern

These stranded colourwork mitts are worked in the round with no shaping; they have generous ribbed cufffs at forearm & around fingers and a gusseted thumb. The cuffs and thumb are worked identically in both mitts, but separate charts & instructions are given for left & right mitts so you can knit a mirror image pair.

This matching coaster and glass warmer have been designed as a small project for learning how to cut knitted fabric with confidence.

Description

In this project, knitters may listen to sounds from the very landscape where Shetland wool is grown through a speaker made of that same material. The KNITSONIK speaker pillow has been designed in conjunction with a special online sound map featuring freely downloadable mp3s recorded in Shetland by Felicity Ford.
