Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is a great 1 skein project for the beautiful farm yarn that came home with you. The texture will show best in smooth to slightly nubby or fuzzy yarn in DK or light worsted yarn. With a ten stitch repeat it should be possible to find a size that works.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This swirly top-down hat inspired by the Fibonacci Golden Spiral is worked in the round with a single skein of yarn. A smooth or slightly nubby yarn is best for showing the swirl.
Knitting: Cowl
This small cowl/neck gaiter was inspired by the folding of the accordion and origami stitches. When blocked with a little scrunching, the piece retains its tendency to fold on itself.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern was written for the Green Mountain Knitting Guild for a KAL. The goal is for us to wear them at the the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival in September.
Knitting: Bag - Other
This is a simple mesh bag made with an elastic yarn. It stretches to hold things such as a phone, or the small items that collect in your pocketbook gently together. The bag also works as a water bottle carrier, a yarn bra and so on. I use it a lot while travelling and camping.
Knitting: Scarf
Designed for my friend Cilla as a trade for a sketch of an apple. I worked out the details of the 7x7 rib through the provisional cast-on while climbing a long hill on a bike up Cilley Hill Road.
