This hat is a medium adult size hat knitted starting from the bottom and working your way up. The seed rib pattern enhances a beautiful texture to the hat and adds some substance. Even though my dear friend, Barbara Sue is sporting this hat, it can be worn on both women and men. My husband loves this hat.

This is a basic men’s rib hat using a bulky weight yarn. The hat starts at the bottom and then closely decreases for the top.

This beautiful felted needle case in knitted in a honey comb pattern using 3 or more colors. After felting, fold and sew pockets with sewing machine. Pockets can be different sizes for straight needles, circular needles and supplies.

The Inca hat is a beautiful and colorful hat knitted using the stranded method. The natural background hat is in size 16” and the black background size 18”. The hat starts at the bottom with a black and white corrugated rib, then a braid. A tip on how to eliminate jogs when knitting colors in the round is included.

The hat is knit in a k3, p1 rib and embellished with beads. Like magic, the beads only materialize when you are wearing the hat. The emerald color of the yarn appears to look similar to the ocean.

The hat is knitted from the bottom 1x1 rib and then worked up in a slip stitch stripe. The solid rib is Berroco Ultra Alpaca and the variegated stripes are two colors from Mountain Colors called Mountain Goat. There are many colors to choose from Mountain Colors.

These gloves were designed for men, but women can wear them too. The cable is called Staghorn and is a very easy but rewarding pattern design. Don’t be afraid of the fingers. The magic loop method used here makes the fingers much easier.

This beaded handbag is perfect for all occasions. Knitted in a cotton yarn using soft dusty colors and embellished with a beaded floral design. The handles for this handbag are genuine bamboo. The bag is lined with a floral print cotton fabric. Size is approximately 9” wide by 8.5 in length.
Knitting: Brimmed Hat
The hat is knit from the bottom and then up starting with the ruffle. The center floral motif is knitted using the stranded technique. The size is a medium size 20”. The yarn is Manos silk blend using 5 colors. Needles used are Size 5 - 24” and 16”; and size 6 - 16” and dp. Gauge is 24 sts = 4”.

The hat is knit in the round using 16” circular needles. Soon after the 2x2 rib trim, radical increases are done so the hat gets that slouchy look.

The hat is knit in sections of corrugated rib and then devided by a black stripe. I choose to use solid and varigated yarns for the colors in the rib.

The ruffle lace gloves are very feminine and can be worn for any occasion. The pattern is written for the magic loop technique but can be knitted using two circulars or double point needles if desired. The gloves start at the bottom knitting the ruffle, and then rib. The lacy pattern is easy but extremely effective. Enjoy your gloves.

The pillar hat starts from the bottom with a small rolled hem. Twisted rib is added, and then two rounds of beads placed over slip stitches. Once the beads are completed, then a simple but very attractive texture stitch (the pillar stitch) is knitted. The hat is not difficult, but looks like it is.
Knitting: Pullover
The lace pattern for the tee shirt is very simple but incredibly effective. The front and back is knitted separately and then put together at the shoulder using the three needle bind off. The sleeves are picked up and knitted down for a clean armhole finish. There is an option to make the sweater more fitted, if desired.

The beaded market bag is perfect for any of your shopping needs, whether it be for groceries, farmers markets or yarn shopping. I choose a natural color linen and embellished with wood pony beads for a more organic look. The bag would also look amazing using bright colors for the yarn and beads.

This simple tee shirt is worked in one piece starting from the bottom of the front, over the shoulders and down the back. The short sleeves are made by increasing and casting on stitches.
