The hat is knit in sections of corrugated rib and then devided by a black stripe. I choose to use solid and varigated yarns for the colors in the rib.

The hat is easy and can be very colorful if you desire.

Make sure you check your gauge, since two color ribbing can be a tighter tension than what you might be used to.
