For Adrienne is a tribute to an immensely talented sock designer and a dear friend, Adrienne Fong (aka bellybuttonknits or BBK). Adrienne passed away in September 2019 after a long battle with cancer. I take a great deal of inspiration from her in my design work, so I am deeply honored to have been asked to design this pattern in her memory.

Concerto Socks are the pattern for the June/July 2019 Solid Socks MKAL. The pattern consists of four clues. Clues be released on June 1, June 8, June 15, and June 22, likely around midnight EST (though exact timing may vary).

These socks originated from a desire to use up leftover yarn in a creative way: I thought it would be interesting to play around with both horizontal and vertical stripes within the same sock.
