When you purchase the club, you will automatically find the up-to-date heel releases in your Ravelry library. After that, each month you’ll receive the next heel pattern as a pattern update.

The aknitica heels create a lovely diagonal stripe in a self-contained heel area.

They’re a mash-up of short-row and increase/decrease shaping techniques that not only create a striking visual but also allow the knitter to create a roomier fit than a typical short-row heel arrangement.

The short-row placement opens up the entire heel area to additional design possibilities. I’ve been having a ton of fun experimenting with variations in shaping placements and techniques.

I’ve come up with 10+ variations and counting, and I’ll be publishing a new heel variation every month in The Heels for Days Sock Club.
