This beautiful capsule collection of four designs featuring lace patterns has been created by the wonderful Sarah Hatton. Originally released in summer 2020 when we were particularly in need of connection with others, these patterns are great to knit with friends. There’s a perfect combination of knitting relaxed enough that you can easily chat with others while doing it as well as lace details and features to keep you interested and stretch your skills. And if you get stuck, we have a virtual living room of friends to help you out!

Something to Knit Together is an eBook with four patterns (two shawls, a hat and one cardigan). For knitters new to lace knitting, the patterns will help you build your skills, but seasoned knitters will also find helpful tips and tricks. All lace instructions are charted and written.

Tutorials included
Photo tutorials are included for the following techniques:

• i-cord tab cast-on method
• grafting the ends of your i-cord
• splitting a yoke into body and sleeve
• picking up stitches at underarms
• keeping track of lace patterns when shaping
• tracking yoke increases + shaping

The collection also includes links to video tutorials on related topics.

Yarn requirements
Each pattern uses our beautiful Something to Knit With 4ply yarn, made from superfine alpaca and highland wool. It combines the bounce and crimp of the wool with luxurious softness from the alpaca, to make a yarn that blocks like a dream for lace patterns.
