Yarn A: Lawn; 3 x 50g skeins
Yarn B: Mist; 2 x 50g skeins

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
1 pair 3.25mm [US 3] knitting needles
Stitch markers, Tapestry needle

TENSION
22 sts and 34 rows to 10cm [4in] over textured pattern on 3.25mm needles, after washing and blocking
Please take time to check that you are getting the same stitch tension across the different stitch patterns, or it will be tricky to block your shawl to shape. You may need larger needles for the fleck pattern.

PATTERN NOTES
The shawl is cast on at the widest point. Bands of different stitch patterns are worked, with integrated i-cord edgings at each end of the rows. Decreases are then worked regularly to reduce the width of the shawl and create the long, tapered triangular shape.

The stitch patterns are given in both written and charted formats. The charted instructions show the decreases and how to keep the stitch patterns correct explicitly. With the written instructions, you will need to keep the stitch patterns correct as the decreases are worked.
