Second Edition - Monsoon Memoirs, launched in September, 2020. . All of the designs are related to the lovely Monsoon season (Mazhaikaalam) that we get from June to September.
This spell is a welcome break from the hot summers of India and it changes the landscape (Prakruti) completely and pretty flowers (Keya) begin to bloom.
The dancing peacock (Mayur) is synonymous with this beautiful season.
The monsoon announces itself in the early days of June with thunder and lightning (Minnal, Damini).
A light drizzle (Tunturu) always fills the gap between heavy spells of rain (Barkha).
Going for walks in the first rains with colourful umbrellas (Godugulu, Kuda) in hand are things we look forward to.
The highlight of the season is pakodas or samosas with tea (Cutting Chai).
And a rainbow (Irsia) at the end of a storm still continues to bring delight to people of all ages.
