Run wild like air and free like a bubble! Enjoy the little twists and turns of the colour. Wild Air Sweater is a comfy, relaxed sweater that is easy to wear with so many styles. It’s another take on the easy everyday sweater you will wear from the day it’s finished to infinity and beyond.

Wild Air Sweater is knitted from top down in one piece, starting with the back, shaped with short rows. Stitches are then picked up for each shoulder and joined for front. Lower body is worked in the round. the sleeves have a slight tapered shape and cuffs that are just loose enough. All edges are bound off with stylish tubular or Italian bind off.

MATERIALS
Yarn:

  • 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) (6, 7, 7, 7, 8) skeins of Merino by Knitting for Olive, colorway Cream. Approx. 1080 (1190, 1290, 1400, 1510) (1620, 1710, 1810, 1900, 2000) yds / 990 (1090, 1180, 1280, 1380) (1480, 1560, 1660, 1740, 1830) m of light fingering weight yarn.

  • 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Silk Mohair by Qing Fibre, in colorway Bubble. Approx. 1080 (1190, 1290, 1400, 1510) (1620, 1710, 1810, 1900, 2000) yds / 990 (1090, 1180, 1280, 1380) (1480, 1560, 1660, 1740, 1830) m of lace weight yarn.

Note: A strand of each yarn are held together throughout the pattern.

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long or longer, and dpns in each size if not using magic loop method for small circumference knitting.
