FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Sizes: S (M, L, XL)
Finished circumference: 40 (44, 48, 52) cm /
15¾ (17¼, 19, 20½) in
Finished height: 24 (24, 25.5, 25.5) cm /
9½ (9½, 10, 10) in
To be worn with approx 5cm/2in of negative ease.
This hat is very stretchy so it should still fit
nicely if you’re a little outside these measurements either way.
TENSION
20 sts x 22 rounds to 10cm (4in) over
stranded colourwork using 5mm (US 8) needles
NEEDLES & ACCESSORIES
This pattern can be worked using
double-pointed needles throughout, or circular needles for your preferred method of working short circumferences in the round.
You will need 4.5mm (US 7) and 5mm (US 8) needles or the size required to achieve the correct tension.
10 (11, 12, 13) stitch markers, 1 to be a contrasting colour

YARN
Lettlopi (Worsted weight; 100% Icelandic wool; 100m/109yds per 50g ball)
Dark Brown: Chocolate Heather (0867) (1 ball)
Mid Brown: Murky (1420) (1 ball)
Pale Brown: Barley (1419) (1 ball)
Cream: White (0051) (1 ball)
Note: You will only need a small amount of each colour. The sample was made using the above yarns, with the exception of the Pale Brown colour.
This was worked in Rowan Felted Tweed, shade Camel (157) with two strands held together throughout.
