This hat needs no introduction, really. It’s named for my beautiful daughter, and inspired by the knitted baby bonnets of days gone by. The VIOLET bonnet knits up quickly, and has an easy-to-memorise lace stitch pattern, making it the perfect choice for a last-minute,
handmade gift. Choose a solid or semi-solid yarn to allow the lace to shine. It’s classic, but fresh, and a little wild, just like my Violet. I hope you love making this hat as much as I do.

VIOLET is knitted flat, then joined in the round to complete the crown. The neckline and ties are completed with an applied I-cord.
