A vintage inspired wrap…

I do enjoy working the Tunisian crochet stitch and one of my favorite simple looping stitches. Good yarn chic would be Zen Garden’s Serenity Silk Single’s in a fingering weight holding 430 yards.

There is a border to be crocheted in the Tunisian crochet stitch and then my simple stitch pattern, explained in the pattern. Together they add an old world charm to the body of the wrap.

The wrap can be worn around the shoulders, hips and neck. It simply is a lovely accessory to be enjoyed for many occasions and outfits. There is a vintage charm to this pattern…

Different size options are offered in the instructions and also different ways to wear the wrap. Shown here a scarf pin holding the wrap in place, though you may decide to add a button.

For size small one skein of yarn is sufficient, though anything larger you will have to add more yarn or simply make it less deep.
