The Hot lips shawl, at least the color reminds me of a great hot pink/fuchsia lipstick, perfect for the summer and so is this shawl. Knitted with the very special Quint skeins in five color, texture and weight changes. The shape is unusual, kind of like a kite which lets you fold over the middle section for a collar and many other ways to style as well.

The pattern is fully written and includes a tassel making photo tutorial. One Tip: Knit LOOSELY!
The blocked shawl measures 60” inches in length and 27” in middle height.

Yarn
Two Quint skeins with five changes of colors, textures and yarn weights. 180 yards each in lace and fingering weights in cottons, rayon and linens, some in thick and thin textures.

Notions
US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) circular needle 36”
(90 cm) in length.
Tassel maker or 5” piece of card board to create the tassel.
Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge
13 sts 17 and rows in 4” of stockinette stitch. Use larger needle if not getting gauge.

Techniques applied
Knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, binding off, weaving in ends, blocking, creating a tassel (photo tutorial included).
