The idea for the Veris Mittens was a joint effort with Helle, a good friend and the talented dyer behind TheDanishDyelot. Her beautiful colors inspired me to design a stylish, cozy set of mittens with a matching hat that are super fun to knit and a delight to wear.
The slip stitch pattern enhances almost every color combo you can think of, and the mitts look just as good in very distinct and contrasting colors as in something more ton-sur-ton.

CONSTRUCTION
Veris mittens are worked in the round with a classic thumb gusset. The length of the mitten is adjustable to get your perfect fit.

Finished measurements: circumference approx 18 cm / 7”, length from cuff to finger-tips approx 24 cm / 9.5”.

Gotlander by TheDanishDyelot, 100% wool (80% Gotland & 20% Merino), 183 m / 200 yards per 100 gram.
