Unicorn Cowl
There is a January KAL just starting in the Casapinka group -we will be knitting from the Winter Light E-book (which also has adult beverages) and are also adding this simple pattern which was a gift to our Patreon subscribers. Please join us for some prizes and a laid back vibe here. You don’t have to sign up, just join in - and we welcome people of all levels - just no know-it-all knitters because Sharon gets VERY hot around the collar with them.
This is a very simple pattern, made to use scraps or remnants from your holiday kits - and it’s reversible. It is 60” in circumference by 7” tall, designed to be worn doubled over.
It uses approximately 230 yards of DK yarn and 7 fingering weight scraps of 4g each. You hold them with the DK to create the effect. You can also knit it all in one or two colors. Since the repeat is so simple, you can shave off half the sts to make a cowl half the size. I hope that you will want to make several of these in different color. I used remnants from a holiday kit and a Koigu Paintbox.
When you CO, make sure to put markers every 25 sts to make life easier!
