Well I think that this shawl certainly is all of the above. It also is a super easy knit in all garter stitches. Knitted with very textural yarns from the feel good linen/cotton yarn to the in your face nubby yarn.
From the changing color blocks that are separated by a bold Boucle yarn to the step like pattern edge, this shawl has got spunk!
This can also be a great using ones stash project! Dimensions as shown unblocked: Length 59”, height 14”. Your shawl can easily be made longer and wider, of course more yarn will be needed. You can also block it to get added length or width.

Yarn
Textured yarn in a light fingering weight, held double throughout.
For this project the individual cakes have extra yardage added. Instead of 250, they have 300 yards each.
C1 Silver, C3 Sage, C4 Lettuce, C5 Lime.
C2 Rayon Boucle, 75 yards of fingering weight in color Choco.

Alternatively use a sport weight yarn 150 yards
in C1, 3,4, and 5.
Notions needed
US size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle 40”
(101 cm) in length.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing
Gauge
12 sts and 36 rows per 4” in Garter stitch with C1 yarn.
Techniques used
Casting on, knitting flat, color changes, binding off.
