Just puttering around, I made this 4-row knitting pattern: 2 rows of Single Tunisian, 2 rows of stockinette. This could be a good choice when you want something more interesting than plain stockinette stitch without too much work. “Tunisian and Stockinette” is much closer in thickness and stretchy-ness to pure stockinette than Single Tunisian. The 20-stitch swatch is 3.5 inches wide at gauge.

Skills needed: cast on, slip, knit, purl, YO, SSK and bind off.

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Any block-able yarn/thread will work. Make a swatch to check gauge and appearance.

48 yards of Knit Picks’ Wool of the Andes yarn will make 10 inches of a 20-stitch-wide strip at gauge.
