Though the name “Treppur” sounds somewhat Islandic, it has no meaning – in fact, it’s the name of the collaborating yarn company “Ruppert (Garne)” written backwards.*

The drop shoulder sweater TREPPUR features an interesting overall brioche-like stitch pattern. Its construction is quite simple and can easily be adjusted to your measurements.*

TREPPUR is worked seamlessly in one piece from the top-down.
Starting with a modified I-cord edging which frames the neckline, increases for front and back are done to produce the drop shoulder line. Then, back and front have to be worked separately to build the armholes. After rejoining back and front, the lower body is to be worked straight down in the round

The stitches for the optional sleeves are picked up from the side edge of the body and worked down in rounds.

Sweater or vest – both is possible.

Auch wenn der Name “ TREPPUR “ ein bisschen isländisch klingt, hat er keine Bedeutung - tatsächlich ist es der Name der kooperierenden Garnfirma “Ruppert (Garne)” rückwärts geschrieben.

TREPPUR ist ein lässig sitzendes Oberteil mit überschnittenen Schultern, das vollständig mit einem patentähnlichen Muster gestrickt wird. Die Konstruktion ist recht einfach und kann leicht an eigene Wünsche angepasst werden.

Das Oberteil wird nahtlos von oben nach unten in einem Stück gearbeitet.
Begonnen wird mit einem modifizierten I-Cord, der den Ausschnitt umrahmt. Die Schulterlinie wird anschließend durch Zunahmen an Vorder- und Rückenteil geformt. Dann müssen Rücken- und Vorderteil separat gearbeitet werden, um die Armlöcher zu erstellen. Der untere Body wird schließlich in Runden gerade nach unten gearbeitet.
Die Maschen für die optionalen Ärmel werden aus dem Seitenrand des Bodys herausgestrickt und in Runden nach unten gearbeitet.

Pullover oder Pullunder - beides ist möglich.
