Sideral hace referencia a “las estrellas, los astros o todo lo relacionado con ello”. Y es que este es un top inspirado en los colores, brillos y nebulosas de la fotografía astronómica. Imágenes por las que siempre me he sentido atraída por su belleza y esa sensación vertiginosa de no saber que hay “más allá”.

Construcción:

Sideral es un top cuadrado de manga caída que tiene un trabajo de degradado y aplicación de mostacillas o cuentas, que busca imitar los hermosos y profundos colores de las fotografías astronómicas, las concentraciones de estrellas o las nebulosas.

En el patrón encontrarás las instrucciones tanto para hacer el degradado por cuenta propia como para utilizar un hilado que lo haga por sí mismo.

Se confecciona de abajo hacia arriba. Se trabaja el cuerpo de manera circular junto con el degradado, secciones de cuentas o mostacillas y secciones con líneas en plateado y dorado con la técnica de intarsia y roosimine.

Después de separar cuerpo y mangas se continúa con la pechera, espalda y delantero por separado, en plano. Una vez terminadas estas piezas son unidas con un cierre de tres agujas. Posteriormente se toman los puntos para las mangas, las que inician con una trenza en dos colores (trenza latviana) y se trabajan circularmente.

Está disponible en 9 tallas: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) que corresponden a una circunferencia del busto de la prenda de 95 (105, 115, 125, 135) (145, 155, 165, 170) cm.

Muestra:

24 pts x 34 Vs = 10x10 cm, tejida en punto jersey circular con agujas de 3,25 mm o el grosor necesario para obtener la muestra medida después de bloquear.

Agujas y materiales:

Agujas circulares de 3,25 mm o el grosor necesario para alcanzar la muestra de tensión (con cable de al menos 80 cm de largo y un cable corto para las mangas).

Agujas circulares de 2,75 mm o 0,5 mm más pequelas que las agujas más gruesas para trabajar pretina, cuello y puños.

3 agujas de doble punta de 3,25 mm o el grosor necesario para el cierre de 3 agujas.

Mostacillas o cuentas en dos tamaños: 25 (25, 25, 30, 30) (30, 35, 35, 35) g de mostacillas o cuentas más pequeñas (en la muestra se utilizaron del 0.8) y 25 (25, 25, 30, 30) (30, 35, 35, 35) g de mostacillas o cuentas más grandes (en la muestra se utilizaron del 0,6)

Crochet o ganchillo para mostacillas o cuentas: N° 8 (0,9 mm) y N° 12 (0,5 mm) o el necesario para insertar las mostacillas o cuentas

5 Marcadores de punto (uno de ellos se utilizará como CV en la sección trabajada en circular)

Metraje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 180 (215, 240, 275, 300) (315, 345, 375, 380) m de C1, C2 y C4. Y 220 (240, 280, 300, 320) (340, 360, 380, 400) m de C3.

Gramaje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 45 (55, 60, 70, 75) (80, 85, 92, 95) g de C1, C2 y C4. Y 55 (60, 70, 75, 80) (85, 90, 95, 100) g de C3.

Construction:

“Sideral” is a boxy top with dropped shouRSers featuring a fade and bead applications, aiming to mimic the beautiful and deep colors found in astronomical photographs, star clusters, or nebulas.

In the pattern, you will find instructions for creating the fade by yourself or using a yarn that achieves it automatically. The garment have a bottom up construction. The body is worked in the round, incorporating the fade, bead sections, and sections with silver and goRS lines using intarsia and roosimine techniques.

After separating the body and sleeves, the work continues with the yoke, back, and front separately, in flat. Once these pieces are finished, they are joined using a three-needle bind-off.

Subsequently, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which start with a two-color braid (Latvian braid) and are worked in the round.

Available in 9 sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) that correspond to a circumference of the garment’s bust of 95 (105, 115, 125, 135) (145, 155, 165, 170) cm

24 sts x 34 rnds = 10x10 cm, knitted in circular stockinette stitch with 3.25 mm needles or the necessary thickness to achieve the measured gauge after blocking.
