Tone Tone
TONE TONE is a soft, roomy sweater with a refined texture formed by knit and purl stitches and cables. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, the back yoke is worked, then stitches are picked up and knitted along the shoulders for the right and left front, which are joined at the bottom of the neckline. Front and back yoke are joined at the bottom of the armholes to form the body and is worked in the round. After this, stitches are picked up and knitted around the armholes for the sleeves, which are worked in the round.
Sizes
Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5
Bust circumference: 110 (123) 133 (140) 150 cm
Length: 58 (59) 60 (61) 62 cm
Sleeve length: 44 (43) 42 (41) 40 cm
The given length measurement is when you measure the sweater lying flat. Just to let you know, the elastic structure causes the sweater to work a little longer when worn.
How much positive ease you like in your clothes varies from person to person. Measuring some of your favorite tops can be a good idea to help you choose the perfect size.
I will typically choose 20 - 30 cm of positive ease for this type of sweater. However, I have decided to knit a larger size than usual and achieve an oversized sweater. I have 40 cm of positive ease in my TONE TONE.
