Celebrate the end of 2024 with my annual Mystery Cowl Knit Along!

The Toasty Triangles Cowl was the finished project for the 2024 Mystery Cowl Knit Along and the theme was TRIANGLES. This two-color sampler-style cowl in Worsted Weight (CYCA 4) yarn is so fun to knit. Pair two colors that are highly contrasted, or go subtle with colors that are have some similarities (tone, shade, or are near one another on the color wheel). Can you say “Happy Knitting!”?!

The cowl is worked seamlessly in the round and features stranded colorwork and a little bit of mosaic knitting. I would suggest this project for advanced beginner and intermediate knitters. As always, tutorial videos are provided for many of the techniques in the project.

The finished measurements of the cowl are approximately 23” x 13”/58 cm x 33 cm

Materials needed:  
Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge, US 6 (4 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needle or one size smaller than size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 sts and 22 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stranded colorwork in the round.
Other Materials: stitch marker, scissors, tapestry needle, row counter (if desired).
Yarn: 150 yards each of 2 colors of worsted weight (CYCA 4) yarn.
