Luxe Journey is a sampler cowl with a luxe knitting theme. This project is all about working up classic knitted textures in luxurious yarn, so treat yourself to something luscious in your favorite color or use that coveted skein that’s been waiting in your stash for the perfect project. Can you say, “Happy Knitting!”?!

Construction Details:
The cowl is worked seamlessly in the round and features mostly knit & purl textures, a few sections with eyelets, as well as one mini-cable section (so cute!). The pattern is provided in written as well as charted form. Knit according to preference.

Sizing and Materials Details
Sizes: One size

Finished measurements: approximately 23” x 12”/58 cm x 30 cm

Gauge: 21 stitches and 30 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round using size needle to obtain gauge.

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needle or size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Yarn: 250 yards of DK weight (CYCA #3) yarn.

Shaina’s suggestions for choosing a color: solid color, very subtle tonal color, or ombre or subtle self-stripe yarns will work best for this design. Very dark colors (i.e. black or navy) and “jumpy” multicolor yarns will not show the pattern stitches as clearly.
