Tillamook Bay is a beautiful drive from Portland Oregon. You emerge from a national forest to find small communities, amazing views, and a killer cheese factory. Every Oregonian has a few outdoor places that live deep in their bones. Our spots for mushroom hunting, our swimming holes, or our little beach retreat. One of my spots is Tillamook Bay. The saltwater wetlands remind me of the Maine coast where my parents live. It feels fully away from life when I’m there.

This shawl is meant to feel away from the world. It’s designed around the idea of simplicity and the fantasy of just rowing ever further out to sea. It begins at the top and grows as you move through a fun gradient kit. No fuss, just smooth waters. (Which you should never expect on the rocky Oregon Coast.)
